Supported memory cards for the GL2 camcorder

Your camera can be used with SD memory cards that conform to the Secure Digital standard. You may use multi media cards (MMC) with this camera; however, Canon makes no warranties concerning the use of multi media cards (MMC). The maximum capacity that may be used is 2 GB.

Newer cards compatible with the SDHC^* standard are not supported.

^*SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) standard supports speed rated cards of over 2GB capacity.
