Using the Self-timer
The self-timer is for when you want to be in the picture. It can be used in Basic Zone and Creative Zone modes. You should also use a tripod.

Press the self-timer button
- The self-timer / Remote control symbol will be displayed on the LCD panel
- To cancel the self-timer press the self-timer button again
- If the shutter button is not pressed to start the self-timer within 4 minutes after the self-timer button is press, the self-timer mode will be canceled automatically
Press the shutter button halfway to focus and check the shutter speed and aperture setting
While still looking through the viewfinder press the shutter button completely to start the self-timer
