Description

How Shutter Priority (Tv) mode works.

Solution

This mode is best for taking picture of moving subjects by controlling the shutter speed. You set the shutter speed and the camera automatically set the aperture according to the lighting conditions. Faster shutter speeds freeze subject motion while slower shutter speeds can produce artistic blur effects.

Turn the Command Dial to <Tv>

Select the desired shutter speed

  • Turn the dial
  • The shutter speed can be set in half-stop increments

Focus the subject

  • The aperture value is set automatically

Check the viewfinder display and take the picture

  • If the aperture display is not blinking a correct exposure will be obtained
