Solution

Using the OCR function within MP Navigator EX

  1. Click OCR on the Custom Scan with One-click tab or in the one-click mode screen to open the Save dialog box.





  2. Set the scan settings as desired.

    Set the Document Type:


    Set the Color Mode:


    Set the Document Size:


    Set the Resolution:



    Clicking Specify... will give you additional options for scanning.



  3. Next, in the Save Settings section, specify a file name and file type to save the file as.


  4. Press the [Scan] button to scan the original as set in the settings. The scanned original will then be transferred to OmniPage SE as specified in the Application Settings section.
