Solution

Change color management options for printing

  1. Open the document you wish to print.

  2. Click 'File' and then click 'Print.'

Note: If the Print window contains only two pop-up menus, click the triangle beside the Printer pop-up menu for expanded options.

  3. Select 'Color Matching' from the Print Options pop-up menu.

  4. Select 'ColorSync' if you want the application you are using, and not the printer driver, to control the color management of the printed output.

Note: If you are using Adobe Photoshop CS2 or newer and have selected 'Let Photoshop Determine Colors', the 'Color Matching' from the Print Options pop-up menu is automatically set to 'ColorSync.'

Select 'Vendor Matching' if you want the printer driver to control the color management of the printed output.
