Set ECM RX to [Off ].

Because ECM corrects errors during a transmission, any problems on the line can mean that the transmission will take extra time. Set ECM RX to [Off ].

1. Press (Additional Functions).

2. Press [Communication Settings].

3. Press [RX Settings], located under Fax Settings.

4. Press the button next to ECM RX. Press [Off], and then press [OK].

5. Press the (Reset) button to exit.
