Locate the Serial Number

The serial number of the printer is visible when the top cover is opened as shown below.

If the printer is powered on, looking straight down into the printer, the serial number will be located to the right of the ink tanks after the carriage has moved over. If the printer is powered off, the serial number will be to the left of the ink tanks.

The serial number starts with four letters and ends with five digits.
