Using the AC adapter for the PowerShot SX1 IS and SX10 IS.

Solution

Using an AC Adapter Kit (Sold Separately)

It is best to power the camera with AC Adapter CA-PS700 (sold separately) when you are using it for long periods of time or connecting it to a computer.

Turn the camera power off before connecting or disconnecting the AC adapter.
  1. Connect the power cord to the compact power adapter first and then plug the other end into the power outlet.


  2. Open the terminal cover by sliding it to the left and attach the cord to the DC IN terminal.



    After you have finished using the camera, unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet.
Use of an AC adapter kit other than CA-PS700 may cause a malfunction in the camera or kit.
