Selecting the Memory for Recording with the VIXIA HF10, HF11, and HF100

Solution

You can select to record your movies and still images in the built-in memory or on the memory card. The built-in memory is the default media for recording . Follow the below procedure to change the location the images or videos are stored.

  1. Set the mode dial to < > or < > .



  2. Press the < > button.



  3. Select the [ ] icon and press < > to open the setup menus.



  4. To change the media for recording movies or images.
    - Select the [MEMORY OPER.] and press < > .



    - Select the [MEDIA:MOVIES] or [MEDIA:IMAGES] .

  5. Change the memory you want to use and press < >.



  6. Press < > to save the settings and close the menu.

NOTE: When selecting the memory for the recordings, information about the memory currently selected (total capacity, amount of memory in use, and available space) will be displayed on the screen. Estimated figures about available movie recording time and available number of still images are approximate and based on the recording mode and still image quality/size settings currently in use.
