Macro

Use this mode to shoot close-ups of flowers or small items.
You can shoot an object at a close range from with a minimum focusing range of 1 - 50cm (0.39 in. - 1.6 ft.).

Infinity
|
Use this mode to record regular subjects and distant subjects. It can also be used for compositions combining near and distant subjects and landscapes. |
1. Press the button to select the Macro mode. The selected Macro or Normal / Infinity mode appears on the LCD monitor. To change from ( Macro / Infinity ) use the button to display .
To cancel the macro/infinity mode, press the button and select from the display.
- Use the LCD monitor to compose close-ups in macro mode since images composed with the viewfinder may be off-center.
- The exposure may not be optimal when the flash is used in macro mode in the range of 1 - 30 cm (2.0 in. to 1.0 ft.).
- Using the flash in Macro mode may cause image edges to darken.
