Starting a Slide Show
A selection of images or all the images on a memory card can be displayed one-by-one in an automated slide show. Slide show image settings are based on Digital Print Order Format (DPOF) standards.

- Set the camera to
[Play] mode then press the <MENU> button. In the playback menu use the
or
button to select
[Slide Show] then press <FUNC./SET>.
- The [Slide Show] menu will display.
- Use the
or
buttons to select
[All Images],
[Date],
[Category],
[Folder],
[Movie],
[Stills], or
[Custom 1,2, or 3].
If you would like to add a transition effect to play back images, use the
button to select [Effect] and choose the type of effect with the
or
button.
- Next, select [Start] and press the <FUNC./SET> button to start the slide show.
The following functions are available during the Slide Shows.
- Pausing / resuming the Slide Show: Press the <FUNC./SET> button.
- Fast forwarding / rewinding the slide show: Press theor
button (Continue to hold the button to switch between images more rapidly)
- Stopping the slide show: Press the <MENU> button.

Transition Effects
You can select the transition effect used when one image is replaced by another.
If you would like to add a transition effect to play back images, use the button in the slide show menu screen to select [Effect] and choose the type of effect with the
or
button.
The effects available are as follows:

The new image gradually brightens as it moves upward from the bottom. |

Selecting Images for Slide Shows
To Select a [Date],
[Category],
[Folder] to play back perform the following.
- From the Slide Show menu select either
[Date],
[Category],
[Folder] and press the <FUNC./SET> button.
- Use the
or
button to select the desired date/category/folder to play back and press the MENU button.
Use the or
button to select a date/category/folder to playback.
2. Press the <FUNC./SET> button.
• A check mark will appear on selected images.
• To cancel the selection: Press the <FUNC./SET> button again.
• Multiple selections can be made for the date/category/folder.
• The images will play back in the order of selection (except when selecting category).
• You can check the images for each date/category/folder by using the or button.
• Pressing the <MENU> button completes the setting.
Custom Slide Show
To select images for Playback using the [Custom 1, Custom 2, or Custom 3] follow these procedures.
- Select

and then press the <FUNC./SET> button.
- Only theicon will display at first. When you set
, the icon will then change to
and then
will display. Theand
will also show a check mark next to the number when they are set to an image. See the screen below:

Once you have chosen the Custom set you wish to assign the images (
,
, or
) as noted above, use the
or
button to move between images for slideshow playback and press the <FUNC./SET> button to select or deselect the images.
- You can also select images in the index playback mode.
- Pressing the <MENU> button completes the setting.Selecting All Images
- After selecting
in step 1. above, use the
button to select [Mark All] and then press the <FUNC./SET> button.
- Next, use the
button to select [OK] and press the <FUNC./SET> button.
To deselect all images, select [Reset].

Adjusting the Play Time and Repeat Settings
You can change the play time for all the images in a show and have the show repeat continuously.
Play Time | Sets the duration that each image displays. Choose between 3-10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds and Manual. |
Repeat | Sets whether the slide show stops when all the slides have been displayed or continues until stopped. |
- From the Slide Show menu choose the [Set up] option and press the <FUNC./SET> button.
- From the following screen select either [Play Time] or [Repeat] depending on which option you are intending to adjust. Use the
or
button to make adjustments to these settings.
- Pressing the <MENU> button cancels the setting.
