Set RX speed to a lower setting - MX870

Solution

Changing the RX Start speed

  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on


  2. Press the Setup button.

  3. Select Device settings, then press the OK button.

    The Device settings screen is displayed.


  4. Use the UPDOWN button to select FAX settings, then press the OK button.


  5. Use the UPDOWN button to select Reception settings , then press the OK button.



  6. Use the UPDOWN button to select RX start speed , then press the OK button.

  7. Use the UPDOWN button or scroll wheel to select one of the following speeds: 33600 / 14400 / 9600 / 7200 / 4800 / 2400, then press the OK button.
