When faxing color documents using the ADF, selects whether to convert them into black & white data if the recipient's fax machine does not support color faxing.

Change the Color TX setting

When faxing color documents using the ADF, selects whether to perform automatic black & white conversion if the recipient's fax machine does not support color faxing.

Make sure that the machine is turned on
Press the <Setup> button.
Use the button to select [Device settings], then press the <OK> button.
The Device settings screen is displayed.
Use the button to select [FAX settings], then press the <OK> button.

The above example shows Print settings selected.
Use the button to select [Transmission settings], then press the <OK> button.
Press the or button to select [Transmission settings] then press the <OK> button.
Use the or button to select [Color transmission] then press the <OK> button.
Use the or button to select [Send in black & white] or [Disconnect] then press the <OK> button
Press the <FAX> button to return to standby.
