    Caution:
    • Do not hold the Cartridge Holder to stop or move it forcibly. Do not touch the Cartridge Holder until it stops completely.

    Important:
    • The inside of the printer may be stained with ink. Be careful not to stain your hands or clothing when replacing Cartridges. You can easily wipe off the ink from the inside of the printer with tissue paper or the like.

    • Do not place any object on the Front Cover. It will fall into the Rear Tray when the Front Cover is opened and cause the printer to malfunction.

    • Do not touch the metallic parts or other parts inside the printer.

    • If the Front Cover is left open for more than 10 minutes, the Cartridge Holder moves to the right. In this case, close and reopen the Front Cover.

  3. Remove the Cartridge.

    (1) Pinch the tabs and open the Ink Cartridge Locking Cover.

    • Be careful not to stain your hands and the surrounding area with ink on the removed protective tape.

    • Do not reattach the protective tape once you have removed it. Discard it according to the local laws and regulations regarding disposal of consumables.

    Note:
    • If the Alarm lamp still flashes orange after the Front Cover is closed, refer to "Alarm Lamp Flashes Orange" in "Troubleshooting" section of the on-screen manual: Advanced Guide.

    • When you start printing after replacing the Cartridge, the printer starts cleaning the Print Head automatically. Do not perform any other operations until the printer completes the cleaning of the Print Head. While cleaning is in progress, the POWER lamp is flashing green.

    • If printed ruled lines are misaligned or the print head position is misaligned, adjust the print head position.
