Place the original on the platen glass.

Launch MP Navigator EX.

1. To open the Applications folder, click the icon of the hard disk where MP Navigator EX is installed.
   

2. Double-click the MP Navigator EX icon.
   
   

On the main MP Navigator EX window, point to One-click to display the Custom Scan with One-click tab.

Click the Custom icon.

In Custom window, make appropriate selections as required in Scan Settings and Save Settings sections.

In Application Settings section, specify an application with which to open scanned images.

1. Drag and drop the icon of an application that supports the file format displayed in Save as type in Open with box. The specified application starts after images are scanned. the document size and scanning resolution as required.
   

2. Alternatively, you can click 'Set' to select an application to start.
   

3. To start scanning when you click Custom icon, place a check in Start scanning by clicking the one-click button box.
   

4. To save the applied settings, click 'Apply'.
   

5. To scan and save documents with the specified settings, click 'Scan' button.
   When Save as type is Auto, a confirmation appears.
