Changing the Shutter Speed and Aperture
Select the [P Programmed AE] recording program to use functions like the white balance or image effects. Select one of the other automatic exposure recording programs to control the shutter speed or aperture.

The camcorder automatically adjusts the aperture and shutter speed to obtain the optimal exposure for the subject. |

Tv Shutter-Priority AE
|
Set the shutter speed value. The camcorder automatically sets the appropriate aperture value. |

|
Set the aperture value. The camcorder automatically sets the appropriate shutter speed. |
Setting the exposure mode.
- Press the <FUNC.> button.
- Select [P Programmed AE].
- Using the joystick left/right select the desired recording program and press <SET>.
- When you select Tv or Av, continue with the following procedure.
To set the shutter speed or aperture value.
- Press <SET>.
- Using the joystick lef/right adjust the shutter speed or aperture value to the desired setting.
- Press <SET>, then the <FUNC.> button to save the setting and close the menu.
