Solution

Using the Quick Control Screen

You can directly select and set the shooting functions displayed on the LCD monitor. This is called the Quick Control screen.


1 Display the Quick Control screen.
  • When the shooting settings are displayed, press the <> button.
  • The Quick Control screen will activate
2 Set the desired setting.
  • Press the <> key to select the function to be set.
  • In the Basic Zone modes (except ), you can select certain drive modes and the image recording quality
  • The selected function is displayed on the screen's bottom.
  • Turn the <> dial to change the setting.
3 Take the picture.
  • Press the shutter button completely to take the picture.

Quick Control Screen Nomenclature

Function Setting Display

  • On the Quick Control screen, select the function and press <>. The respective setting screen will then appear (except for the shutter speed and aperture).
  • Turn the <> dial to change the setting. You can also press the <> key to change the setting.
  • Press <> to finalize the setting and return to the Quick Control screen.
