Basic Network Settings
This section describes the procedure for configuring a network.
Confirm that the following tasks and settings are completed.

- It is recommended that the network administrator performs these operations.
1. Check the following network environment.
- This machine is connected to an active router or network hub.
- The router or network hub is connected to a local intranet or the Internet.
2. Connect the LAN cable.
3. Set and check the IP address.
This machine is set to obtain the IP address automatically. However, you can manually set the IP address according to your environment.
After configuring the IP address settings, check whether the network connections are set properly.
