Erasing

Please note that erased images cannot be recovered. Exercise caution before erasing a file.

1. Turn the mode lever to the right to set the camera to Playback mode. .

2. Select the image you wish to erase using the or arrow and press the <MENU> button and choose the button, then press the <SET> button. A confirmation screen appears.

3. Select [Erase] using the or button and press the <SET> button.

• To cancel instead of erasing, select [Cancel] and press the <SET> button
• Protected images cannot be erased with the erase function.

Erasing All Images

1. In the [(Replay)] menu, select [(Erase all)] and press the <SET> button. A confirmation screen appears.

2. Select [OK] using the or button and press the <SET> button.

• To cancel instead of erasing, select [Cancel] and press the <SET> button.

Protected images cannot be erased with the erase function. The [Erase all] function erases all the image data recorded on the CF card. You should format the CF card when you want to erase not only image data but also all the data contained on the card.
