Shooting Close-ups (Super Macro Shooting)

You can zoom in and shoot while close to the subject. The possible shooting range is approximately 1 - 10 cm ( 0.39 - 3.9 inch) from the end of the lens. Using the digital zoom will allow you to zoom in even more and shoot while close to the subject.

Using digital zoom may cause images to appear coarse at some recording pixel settings.

1. Press the <MODE> buttons to select SCN using the buttons. Then use the to choose the (Super Macro) mode.

2. Use the zoom button to compose the shot.

- No image deterioration (zoom factor appears in white)

- Image deterioration (zoom factor appears in blue)

  • Flash cannot be used when super macro is being used.
  • Use of a tripod is recommended when shooting super macro to prevent the camera from moving and causing the images to be blurred.
