Check RX fax information

Before sending a fax, the machine checks whether the recipient's fax machine information matches the dialed number.

  1. Press the Setup button.

  2. Select [Device settings], then press the <OK> button.

  3. Use the UPDOWN button to select [FAX settings], then press the <OK> button.

  4. Use the UPDOWN button to select [Transmission settings], then press the <OK> button.

  5. Use the UPDOWN button to select [Check RX fax information], then press the <OK> button.

  6. Use the UPDOWN button to select appropriate option then press the <OK> button.

    ON: To avoid sending your fax message to a wrong number / fax, select this option.
    OFF: To send a fax without checking the recipient's fax machine information, select this option.

    Important

    • Transmission will be canceled if the machine fails to receive the recipient's fax information or if the received information does not match the fax number.

    • This function is not available when you send a fax manually.
