Special 1-5 settings should be used if third party media is used in the printer. Please be sure that the third part media is within the specifications of the printer. Also, when using Special 1-5, the higher the number, the higher the ink amount used.

Special 1: Thin paper, uncoated bond paper, most film based media, news print
Special 2: Thin paper, most film based media, banner matterial
Special 3: Matte coated paper, rag paper
Special 4: Rag paper, most gloss/semi-gloss paper, RC based paper
Special 5: Canvas, RC base paper, most photo media with highest quality mode
