Ways to save movies onto Standard-Definition Discs (DVD)

Solution

You can use the supplied PIXELA's VideoBrowser to save your movies onto standard DVDs (DVD-Video standard)*.

If you are using a commercially available DVD recorder or similar device to create standard-definition discs, you will need to copy your recordings to the device. For details on how to create DVD discs, see your DVD recorder's instruction manual. The DVDs that you created can be played back on DVD players.

*Requires a computer's disc drive supporting DVD disc writing.

Note:

When creating DVDs using a computer

  • Install the supplied software (Transfer Utility or VideoBrowser) before you connect the camcorder to the computer for the first time.
  • When creating DVDs, first you will need to copy your recordings to the computer.
  • For detailed procedures on creating discs, see the VideoBrowser software guide.
