The camcorder offers 3 recording modes. Changing the recording mode will change the recording time available on the memory. Select XP mode for better movie quality; select LP mode for longer recording times. The below table give approximate recording times.
- Press the <FUNC.> button.
- Using the joystick select the desired recording mode [XP High Quality, SP Standard Play, LP Long Play] and press <SET>.
- Press the <FUNC.> button to close the function menu.

When a recording exceeds 4GB, it will be divided and saved as scenes smaller than 4GB.
