Turning on and off the built-in mini video light VIXIA HF M30 series

With the camcorder's mode switch set to [M] you can turn on the mini video light to shoot video or take photos in dark places.

Touch [FUNC.] then touch [Video Light], then touch [On] to turn on the video light.

Repeat the same sequence and select [Off] to turn off the mini video light.

NOTE:

We recommend not using the mini video light while the optional Wide converter or Tele converter is attached; its shadow can appear on the screen.
When an optional video light is attached to the mini advanced shoe, the built-in mini video light will be disabled. To use the built-in mini video light, turn off the optional video light.
