Description

If the ADF cover is not shut properly, the message [Document in ADF. Redo operation] will be displayed on the LCD when attempting to copy.

Solution

Close the ADF Cover Correctly

If the ADF cover is not shut properly, the message [Close the feeder cover] will be displayed on the LCD when attempting to copy. Do the following:

  1. Documents remain in the ADF.

  2. Press the <OK> button to eject documents and press the <Stop> button to stop ejecting.

  3. If the Document Feeder Cover (A) is open, close it.



  4. To continue scanning, operate on the application. Scanning from the ADF may not be supported depending on your application software. For details, refer to the instruction manual of your application.
