If the automatic print head alignment fails on your PIXMA MG5320, there are a few things you can check to troubleshoot the issue:
-
Make sure the print head nozzles aren't clogged. To check, press the OK button to dismiss the error, and print the nozzle check pattern to determine the status of the print head.
-
Make sure that you have A4 or Letter size paper loaded in the rear tray. If a different sized paper is loaded in the rear tray, press the OK button to clear the error. Remove the paper currently in the rear tray, then load a sheet of A4 or Letter size paper retry the alignment.
-
Make sure that the printer is not exposed to strong light. If it is, press the OK button to clear the error, then adjust the printer or your environment so the paper output slot isn't directly exposed to strong light.
If you align the print head again, and still get an error message, press the OK button to clear the error, then perform manual print head alignment.
