Learn how to print a network configuration page for the PIXMA MP495 or MP499, and also see an example of the settings information it contains.

Solution

You can print out the network settings of your machine such as its IP address, network name (SSID), Encryption, and more.


Print out network configurations

To print the wireless network (LAN) settings:

  • Press the Image: Maintenance button repeatedly until Image: LED icon shaped like an upside-down U appears on the printer LED, then press the Black or Color button.

  • The LAN setting information will print.

  •  X - represents an alphanumeric character ranging from 0 to 9 and A to F.

  • *1 - Only when the TCP/IP version is IPv4, the status of the network is printed.

  • *2 - Only when the TCP/IP version is IPv6, the status of the network is printed.

  • *3 - Only when the TCP/IP version is IPv6 and the IP sec setting is activated, the status of the network is printed.
