Change the Print Orientation

Select landscape or portrait printing and ensure that it is the same orientation used in the application.

If you are using Mac OS X v.10.7.x, Mac OS X v.10.6.x or Mac OS X v.10.5.x, you can set the print orientation in the Print dialog.

To open the Page Setup dialog, you typically select Page Setup from the File menu of your application software.

1. Select the command you use to perform printing from the program you are using. (In general, select 'Print' on the File menu to open the Print dialog box.)
    
2. Select Page Setup.
    
3. For Orientation, click the appropriate icon to select either 'Portrait' or 'Landscape'.
   
   
   • For landscape printing with Mac OS X v.10.4.11, you can select the top and bottom of the paper to match the paper to be printed.
      
4. Click 'OK'.
    
5. Open Print dialog and click 'Print'.
