Solution
When an error occurs you may see the orange alarm Lamp lit or flashing on your printer LED. Select one of the following options to learn how to resolve the problem:

The alarm lamp is LIT orange and an error code displays on the LED.

The alarm lamp is FLASHING orange and an error code displays on the LED.
Try this first
The following button pushes may quickly clear the machine when an error occurs:

ON button: To turn the printer off and on again.

Color Button: To clear and recover from an error.
For some errors, the error will automatically be cleared when the cause of the error is removed, and it may not be necessary to press the Color button. -
Stop button: To cancel the job at error occurrence, and to clear the error.
Alarm lamp is LIT orange
When a printer error occurs, the alarm lamp is lit orange and the error code displays on the printer LED. Check the error code on the LED and take the appropriate action to correct the error.

Reload the paper in the front tray and press the Black or Color button. |

If the error isn't resolved, remove and replace the cartridges. |
E, 0, 5 |
The FINE cartridge is not installed properly. Appropriate FINE cartridge is not installed. |

The paper output cover is open. |
Close the paper output cover. |
E, 0, 7 |
FINE cartridge is not installed in the correct position. |
Make sure that each cartridge is installed in the correct position. |
E, 0, 8 |
Ink absorber is almost full. |
Press the printer's Black or Color button to continue printing. When the ink absorber fills completely, your printer will require servicing.

Loaded paper is not compatible with automatic duplex printing. |

Cannot print the contents on CREATIVE PARK PREMIUM. |
When you print the contents on CREATIVE PARK PREMIUM:

The FINE cartridge cannot be recognized. |

The FINE cartridge cannot be recognized. |

The ink has run out. |

The paper output tray is closed. |
Open the paper output tray to resume printing. |
E, 2, 0 |
An error regarding network setup has occurred. |
Press the Black button or the Color button to dismiss the error, then perform setup again. |
E, 2, 3 |
An error regarding network setup has occurred. |
Press the Black button or the Color button to dismiss the error, then perform setup again. |
E, 3, 0 |
The size of the original cannot be correctly detected or the document is too small when the Fit-to-Page copying is selected. |

The printer is not connected with the computer. |
Connect the printer and the computer with a USB cable. |
E, 4, 0 |
The protective material for the FINE cartridge or the tape remains attached. |
Check the inside of the printer. If the protective material or the tape remains attached, remove it. |
E, 5, 0 |
Scanning the print head alignment sheet has failed. |
Press the Stop / Reset button to dismiss the error, then check the following:

Alarm lamp FLASHES orange
When the Alarm lamp flashes and one of the following error codes displays on the printer LED, an error requiring service might have occurred.
