What to do when "**** (4 digit alphanumeric one-byte characters) Printer error has occurred" - MG5320

Description

When an error is displayed in the form of 4 alphanumeric characters, for example '5200' or ';6A81'

 

Solution

When the message "**** (*1) Printer error has occurred. Turn off power then back on again. If problem persists, see the manual." is displayed, there may be a problem inside the printer.

(*1): "****" is displayed with alphanumeric one-byte characters.

 

Example: 5012, etc.

<Solution>

Turn OFF the printer, and unplug the power cord. Reconnect the power cord and turn the machine back on.
