Changing the Man/Auto Switch on the fax machine.
Solution
Manual/Auto Switch
By default, Manual/Auto Switch is set Off. If it was set On and you want to change this setting or if you want to increase the time before the fax answers, follow these steps.
Make sure that the machine is turned on.
Press the FAX button, then press the Menu button.
Use the or button to select Receive mode set. in FAX menu, and press the OK button.
Use the or button to select TEL priority mode, and press the OK button.
Use the or button to select Yes to make advanced settings, and press the OK button.
Use the or button to select Manual/auto switch, and press the OK button.
Use the or button to select from OFF or ON, and press the OK button.
OFF: Is the default setting and the printer will not answer as a fax.
OFF: The machine will not answer as a fax.
ON: The machine will automatically answer as a fax based on the RX start time.
Use the button to specify the RX start time (the length of time until automatic reception is started (01 - 60 seconds)).
