Babys first smile, first step, first word. When you use this mode, you can easily capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments and keep track of babys growth day by day. With the optimized settings, babys skin will appear with vibrant clarity. In addition, you can add a stamp to the video to show how much time has passed since baby was born. Setting Baby Mode The setting procedure for Baby mode is explained below. IMPORTANT - Even if the video format was set to [
] MP4, when you change the shooting mode to Baby mode, the video format is automatically set to AVCHD [ ].
1. Turn on the camcorder and make sure it is set to a recording mode. 2. Touch [Shooting mode].
3.  Drag your finger up or down to bring [  ] to the center, and then  touch [OK].
This concludes the procedure for setting Baby mode. NOTE - During Baby mode, pre-recording will be activated and cannot be turned off. That way, you will not miss memorable moments.
- During Baby mode, dual recording and recording in 60P are not available.
- In Baby mode, most advanced settings will not be available but you can use [Zoom] and [Decoration].

Using Stamps during Baby Mode During Baby mode, you can add stamps to the video to track babys height, weight and age. NOTE Confirm that  (Baby mode) is set.
1. Turn on the camcorder. 2. Touch [  ].
3.  Drag your finger left/right to bring the [Main Functions] menu to the center, and then  touch the icon to open it.
4. Touch [Decoration].
5. Touch [  ].
6. Touch one of the options. (Icon 1, 2, or 3.)
REFERENCE - You can track the information of up to 3 babies.
- When recording in [Baby] mode, you can use especially designed, baby-themed animated stamps.
7. To set babys date of birth, touch > [  ].
8. Touch  to set.
9. To set baby's height and weight, touch [  ].
10. Touch  to set.
11. Touch  . 12. Touch the stamp, date or time and drag it to the desired location. NOTE For the age stamp, days will be displayed for 6 days after birth, weeks will be displayed from 1 week up to, but not including, 1 month; months will be displayed from 1 month up to, but not including, 1 year; and years will be displayed from 1 year.
Playing Back Scenes in the Baby Album The baby album contains, in chronological order, only the movies recorded in Baby mode so you can conveniently play those movies back and enjoy watching babys growth. The playback method for the [Baby Album] is explained below. 1. Turn on the camcorder. 2. Press <  > to set the camcorder to Playback mode. 3. Touch [  ].
4.  Drag your finger left/right to bring [Baby Album] to the center, and then  touch the icon to open it.
5. Select the scene you want to play back.
NOTE - Playback controls are the same as when playing back scenes from the [Movie Playback] index screen.
- The camcorder will play back the scene selected and continue until the end of the last scene in the index screen.
IMPORTANT - Observe the following precautions while the ACCESS indicator is on or flashing. Failing to do so may result in permanent data loss.
- Do not open the memory card slot cover. - Do not disconnect the power source or turn off the camcorder. - Do not press <  >.

4.  Drag your finger left/right to bring [Baby Album] to the center, and then  touch the icon to open it.
5. Select the scene you want to play back.
6. Touch [  ] to pause the playback.
7. Touch [Edit].
8. Touch [Set Thumbnail].
9. Bring the scene to a precise point if necessary. Touch [  ] to begin playback, and touch it again to pause playback. Pause playback when the desired scene is displayed.
