Learn how to use the WPS Push Button setup method to connect the PIXMA iP7220 to a wireless router.

Solution

To set up your printer to connect wirelessly to your network using the WPS Push Button method, follow these steps.

  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button (A) on the printer for about 3 to 5 seconds. 

  2. Make sure that the (blue) Wi-Fi lamp flashes quickly and the POWER lamp is lit as shown in the illustration above, then press and hold the button on the access point / wireless router for about 5 seconds within 2 minutes.

  3. Make sure that the (blue) Wi-Fi lamp and POWER lamp are lit.
