Error message: The type of print head is incorrect. Install the correct print head. U052

To troubleshoot a U052 error on your printer, try the following:

 

  1. Cycle the power on the printer.
     
    1. While the printer is powered on, disconnect the power cord


       
    2. Wait a few minutes
       
    3. Reconnect the power cord and power up the printer

  2. If cycling the power does not clear the errror message, reseat the print head.
