If you are shooting a subject at a close distance, and if the subject cannot be easily focused within the normal shooting range, switching the normal mode to the [Macro] ( ) mode will make it easier to focus on the subject.
IMPORTANT
- The following sections explain the setting procedures when the cameras shooting mode has been set to [Program AE] (
).
- If the flash fires, vignetting may occur.
The shooting distance of each [Focusing Range] and the shooting modes in which [Focusing Range] settings cannot be made
1. Press the power button to turn the camera on.
2. Press the < > button, choose [Macro] ( ) (either press the < >< > buttons or turn the < > dial), and then press the <FUNC./SET> ( ) button.
3. Once the setting is complete, ( ) is displayed.
REFERENCE
- To prevent camera shake, try mounting the camera on a tripod and shooting with the camera set to [Self-Timer].
REFERENCE
- If the flash fires, vignetting may occur.
- With the AF frame mode set to [Face AiAF], using Touch Shutter returns the camera to [
].
NOTE

) mode are as follows.
In the yellow bar display area below the zoom bar, [ ] will turn gray and the camera will not focus.
