The main differences between EOS Utility 3.0 and EOS Utility 2.14 are listed below.
  • Linking with EOS Utility3.0 is possible while using the "elimination selection" function in Digital Photo Professional 4.0. This allows remote shooting while comparing and selecting shot images.
  • Linking between Digital Photo Professional 4.0 and EOS Utility 3.0 has been enhanced allowing the user to press the enhanced, "Remote shooting" button in Digital Photo Professional 4.0 to launch EOS Utility 3.0, after which "Camera control" opens in Digital Photo Professional 4.0
  • The Live View window has been integrated as a single window.
  • The following models are supported (June, 21014):
-EOS-1D C, EOS-1D X, EOS 5D Mark III, EOS 6D
IMPORTANT
  • EOS Utility 3.0 and EOS Utility 2.14 can be installed on the same computer at the same time.
  • When you install EOS Utility 3.0, EOS Utility 2.x will be updated to the latest version.
  • When cameras other than EOS-1D C, EOS 6D, EOS 5D Mark III, and EOS-1D X are connected to the computer, EOS Utility 2.14 will start.
