The Paper Retainer is soiled. Clean the Paper Retainer.
<How to clean the Paper Retainer>
1. Open the Top Cover.
2. Using a damp cloth that you have wrung out completely, wipe away any ink residue on the Paper Retainer (b).
WARNING
- Never use flammable solvents such as alcohol, benzene, or thinner. If these substances come into contact with electrical components inside the printer, there is a risk of fire or electrical shock.
IMPORTANT
- Do not touch the Linear Scale (a) or Carriage Shaft (b). This may stain your hands and damage the printer.
3. Close the Top Cover.
You are using a paper that does not dry easily. 1. In the Control Panel menu, set [Roll DryingTime] to at least [1 min].
2. When paper that does not dry easily is used for printing, it may curl during printing and touch the Output Tray. In this case, in the Control Panel menu, complete the settings for [Dry time] and [Area] in [Scan Wait Time]. However, note that printing will now take longer.
