At the upper right part of the LCD, :1 appears.  When this is on the screen, pressing the numeric keypad will enter numbers for the passphrase.  To enter letters, press the Asterisk  key.  At the upper right part of the LCD, :A appears.  Pressing the numeric keypad will now enter in uppercase letters.  Press Asterisk again to be able to enter lowercase letters (:a will appear at the upper right corner of the LCD).  To delete a character, press the left arrow to move the cursor underneath the character you want to delete.  Press Back button to delete the character(s).

  9. After the passphrase has been entered, press OK.

The printer will attempt to connect to the wireless LAN.  If the connection is successful, Connected Press [OK] will appear.  Press OK.  If the connection fails, a warning will appear on the LCD.  Press OK and verify that the passphrase is correct.  Make any changes necessary, then press OK again.

After the printer has connected to the network, install the software.
