Description

How to read the Auto Shooting Distance Range scale.

Solution

Depending on the f/stop selected, the auto working range that can be correctly exposed will change. For this purpose, the color of the line along the aperture scales indicates the distance range effective for AR flash photography in accordance with the color of the mark on the AUTO/MANU switch.

Therefore you can understand the limit of the auto working range depending on the color of the line below the distance scale. When the AUTO/MANU switch is set at the green position the auto working range will read 0.5m to 3m while at the red position the auto working range will read 0.5m to 6m

  • Even through the ASA film speed changes the limits of the auto working range are always fixed.
