EF 400mm f/2.8L USM : How to use the Focus Shift?
Solution
 |
To compensate for shift in focus at the infinity mark due to changes in temperature, this lens has an allowance for focusing past the normal infinity mark position, as indicated by the extended line at the infinity mark. The reading ring is already rotated to this position. Focus thought the viewfinder rather than simply rotating the lens all the way to the infinity mark when shooting a distant subject. |
