Starting a Slide Show

Transition Effects

Use this feature to automatically play back all of the images on the memory card. The LCD monitor displays each image for approximately 3 seconds.

1. Set the camera to [Play] mode then press the MENU button. In the playback menu use the or button to select [Auto Play] then press FUNC./SET.

  • During automated playback, the following functions are possible:

- Pausing / resuming the Auto Play: Press the <FUNC./SET> button.

- Fast forwarding / rewinding: Press the or button (holding down the button will increase the speed of the Fast Forward).

- Stopping: Press the <MENU> button

  • Movies play for their entire recorded length regardless of the time set in the slide show settings.
  • The power-saving function does not activate during a slide show.
  • If [Transition] is selected, the selected transition effects appear between the images.

Playback with Transition Effects.

You can select the transition effect displayed when switching between images.

No transition effect.
The displayed image darkens and the next image gradually brightens until it is displayed.
Press the button to have the previous image display from the left and the button to have the next image display from the right.

1. Power the camera on in the (Playback) menu and choose the [Transition] menu item.

2. Use the or button to select the desired transition effect and press the <FUNC./SET> button to complete the setting.
