Registering Coded Speed Dialing

Coded speed dialing allows you to dial fax/telephone numbers by simply pressing [Coded Dial]. First, you register a fax/telephone number for coded speed dialing, then to dial the number, simply press [Coded Dial] and enter the two-digit code assigned to that number. Before you can use coded speed dialing, you need to register the recipients? numbers.

1. Press [FAX], then press [Menu].

2. Use [ ] or [ ] to select <CODED DIAL REGIST>, then press [OK].

3. Use [ ] or [] to select a coded speed dialing code (00 to 19).

4. Press [OK] two times.

5. Use the numeric buttons to enter the fax/telephone number you want to register (max. 60 digits (40 digits for Korea), including spaces).

Note: Press [Redial/Pause] to enter a pause.
Press [* ] to enter a tone.

6 Press [OK] two times.

7. Use the numeric buttons to enter a name for the coded speed dialing code (max. 16 characters, including spaces).

8. Press [OK].

The <CODED DIAL REGIST> screen is displayed to enter the next number.

• If you continue registering coded speed dialing codes, repeat the procedure from step 4.
  
• If not, go to step 9.

9. Press [Stop/Reset].

Note: For a list of the recipients you have registered, print the coded speed dialing list.

Changing or Deleting a Coded Speed Dialing

To change a registered number:

1. Follow the procedures from step 1 to 4 under Registering Coded Speed Dialing.
   
2. Press and hold [] to delete the registered number.
   
3. Use the numeric buttons to enter the new number.
   
4. Press [OK].
   
5. Press [Stop/Reset].

To change a registered name:

1. Follow the procedures from step 1 to 6 under Registering Coded Speed Dialing.
   
2. Press and hold [] to delete the registered name.
   
3. Use the numeric buttons to enter the new name.
   
4. Press [OK].
   
5. Press [Stop/Reset].

To delete an entire entry:

1. Follow the procedures from step 1 to 4 under Registering Coded Speed Dialing.
   
2. Press and hold [ ] to delete the registered number.
   
3. Press [OK].
   
4. Press [Stop/Reset].
   The name will automatically be deleted when you delete the number.
