Locate the Serial Number

The serial number of the printer is visible when the top cover is opened, as shown below.

When confirming the serial number, ensure that the printer is powered on before opening the top cover. The carriage will move to the center of the printer. Looking down into the printer, the serial number will be to the left of the carriage on the metal frame.

The serial number starts with four letters and ends with five digits.
