When your subject is not in the cent of the picture flash, use the focus lock function. Focus on the intended subject remains locked as long as the shutter button is held halfway. This function lens you vary the composition by putting the subject off-center

First put the AF frame over the intended subject, press the shutter button halfway to lock the focus. Make sure the green AF symbol lights up |
