How to use the Real Time mode

Solution

Real Time Mode

Use this mode when you want to take pictures in real time. Usually when you take pictures, there is a very short delay between the shutter button being pressed and the shutter releasing. In mode press the shutter button down halfway to focus on the subject and then push the button down fully to take a picture in real time.

Turn the dial to

  • Position the AF frame over your subject and press the shutter button down halfway. There is a brief zooming sound as the camera focuses on the subject.
  • Keep the shutter button pressed halfway down
  • When you are ready to take the picture press the shutter button down fully
  • If you press the shutter button all the way down in a single movement, reatime release does not operate
  • Take care that the distance from the camera to the subject does not change. If the distance does change start again from the first step
  • Take care not to touch the lens as this may result in the picture being out of focus
  • We do not recommend using red-eye reduction when the flash modes is set to Auto flash with red-eye or Slow sync mode as you cannot take a picture immediately
