This camera is provided with an automatic exposure compensation function for backlit shot, but you can also use exposure compensation at any time

• Press the button to display or on the LCD panel
• Either +1.5 or -1.5 blinks on the LCD panel

Exposure Compensation

You can use this setting to prevent you subject being too dark (underexposed) when the surrounding are extremely bright, such as at a ski-resort or in backlit conditions. You can also use this setting to brighten the entire picture

You can use this setting to prevent your subject being too bright (overexposed) when the surroundings are extremely dark such as on a spotlit stage. You can also use this setting to darken the entire picture.
