Locate the Serial Number

When confirming the serial number, ensure that the printer is POWERED ON before opening the top cover. The serial number of the printer is visible when the top cover is opened, as shown below.




Note: If the printer will not power on and the ink cartridges are on the right hand side of the printer, the serial number may be obstructed by the white ribbon cable. In this case, gently move the ribbon cable aside to view the serial number.

The serial number starts with four letters and ends with five digits.

(Example) VVPP00018
