  1. Download the printer driver file from our website ("MF6500_UFR_II_PrtDriver_Win_EN.exe").

  2. Double-click on the file and it will self- extract the necessary files to a folder on the desktop.

  1. Double-click on the newly created folder ("MF6500_UFR_II_PrtDriver_Win_EN") to open the folder.

  2. Double-click on the "Setup" application file to begin the installation.

  3. If UAC (User Account Control) is turned on, a warning screen will pop-up.

  4. Click <Allow>. The MF6500 welcome screen will appear. Click <Next>.

  5. The "License Agreement" window will pop-up. After reading the agreement thoroughly, and if you agree, click <Yes>.
Note: If you do not agree with the "License Agreement" and select <No>, the driver will not install.

  6. An error window will pop-up stating that the computer is not assigned with a valid IP address. Click <OK>.

  7. Another window will be displayed indicating that the installation was interrupted. Click <Exit>.

  8. A "Program Compatibilty Assistant" window will pop-up. Click <Reinstall using recommended settings>.

  9. Repeat steps 3 through 7 again.

  10. This time, after selecting <Yes> in the License Agreement, a window will pop-up allowing you to choose the connection type. Select <USB> and then click <Next>.

  11. A window will pop-up stating that it is copying the driver files.

  12. Once the files have been copied and installed, the Installation Complete window will appear. Click <Exit>.

  13. Plug in the USB cable to the printer and to the computer to complete the driver installation.
