The date imprint function automatically keeps track of the correct date and time by making adjustment for leap years plus long and short months. For the initial setting, when traveling to different time zones or when replacing the battery, set the date and time as follows:

Press the MODE button to display the date or time on the LCD panel |
| Press the SELECT button so that the first setting position to be adjusted starts blinking |
Press the SET button to input the desired number.
- The number increases by one each time the SET button is pressed. If the SET button is held down the numbers increase quickly
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all positions are set. When finished, press the SELECT button until all positions stop blinking.
